This recreation of Frida’s 1943 ‘Self Portrait with monkeys’ is in one of the Georgetown Arts and Cultural Center shower rooms. The GACC offers artists and retailers studios and operates as a Bed and Breakfast, It’s been a hub for art in the Georgetown neighborhood with monthly art shows since the early 2000’s. I spent a little over a year residency at GACC around 2014. One of my favorite places in town!
